Played by veteran Welsh actor Rhys Ifans, The Lizard is actually Dr. Curt Connors, a former partner to Pater Parker's mysteriously missing dad. During an experiment to try and regrow his missing arm using lizard DNA, Connors totally makes a mess of things a turns himself into a huge green monster.
