Adam Brody will not rest until he's been crowned the new Indie King.
The former "O.C." star is continuing his streak of appearing in as many independent films as possible as he's signed on to star in "All the Wrong Reasons," according to Variety.
"All the Wrong Reasons" (sounds like an '80s sex comedy, doesn't it?) follows four friends who wander around New York City over the course of one eventful day. Brody joins a cast that includes Kevin Zegers as well as both Sarah Gadon and Emily Hampshire, stars of the other upcoming one-day-in-New-York adventure, "Cosmopolis."
Adam Brody was most recently seen stealing scenes from Keira Knightley as her boyfriend in "Seeking a Friend For the End of the World." He also recently starred in Whit Stillman's "Damsels in Distress" and played the villainous Nikolai Wolf in "Jennifer's Body."
Brody has a slew of other indie projects in the pipeline, including "Revenge For Jolly!," "The Oranges" and "Welcome to the Jungle." He'll also soon be seen in the screen adaptation of Neil LaBute's "Some Girl(s)" and as porn star Harry Reems (hee hee) in "Lovelace," which features his "Jennifer's Body" co-star, Amanda Seyfried, as the legendary "Deep Throat" headliner.
"All the Wrong Reasons" will commence with production later this month not in NYC but in Halifax, Canada.
