Hollywood's biggest stars got slimed earlier this evening and the gooiest helpings of green sludge went to Kristen Stewart and Adam Sandler, who took home the mighty Blimp awards for Favorite Actress and Favorite Actor respectively at Nickelodeon's 2012 Kids' Choice Awards.
The choice of Sandler over "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe wasn't the biggest upset of the night, though, as that honor went to "Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked," which beat out "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2," "The Muppets" and "The Smurfs" to take home the Blimp in the Favorite Movie category.
Meanwhile, in the animated film categories, "Puss in Boots" won Favorite Animated Movie, upsetting "Rio," Cars 2" and "Kung Fu Panda 2." But despite that victory, "Puss in Boots" star Antonio Banderas was passed over in the Favorite Voice From an Animated Movie category, as Katy Perry took home the Blimp for her work as Smurfette in "The Smurfs."
And in other movie related news, Stewart was joined in the winner's circle (or is that under the winner's goo spigot?) by "Twilight" co-star Taylor Lautner, who won the ambiguously titled Favorite Buttkicker category. But the news wasn't all good for Twihards, as "Twilight" joined "Harry Potter" and "The Hunger Games" in the losers bracket in the race for Favorite Book, which went to the source of fellow film franchise "The Diary of a Wimpy Kid." Do people even read books that aren't movies these days?
