It's been eight years since they took us on the world's most unforgettable fast food trip in "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle," and audiences have been relishing in the delirious duo's outrageous adventures ever since.

Harold (Jon Chu) and Kumar (Kal Penn) have gone from White Castle to Guantanamo Bay to everywhere in between, ceremoniously smashing stereotypes -- and their own brain cells -- at every stop.

So with the release of their latest adventure, the future Christmas classic "A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas," it's high time we look back at the pair's all-time greatest screen performances.

Harold and Kumar … get topical? Don't worry, there's nothing to harsh your mellow in this deliciously sordid sequel – not even a trip to the world's most notorious prison. After they're mistaken for terrorists on route to heaven (a.k.a. Amsterdam), the boys must detour through Gitmo before continuing on to Miami (where we learn they don't wear pants at parties!) and then the Deep South. This respectable follow-up climaxes the way all great comedies should: in a smoky haze with the sitting U.S. president.

1. 'Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle' (2003)

All they wanted were burgers. What they got was an adventure of a lifetime. (Editor's Note to Self: See if we can make some extra cash writing taglines.) Harold and Kumar's cloudy-eyed wild ride through the suburbs of Jersey – where they encountered Freakshows, cheetahs and in one of the greatest comedy cameos of all time, an Ecstasy-chewing Neil Patrick Harris – quickly established them as the Millenial's answer to Cheech and Chong. In typical stoner comedy fashion, it's a movie that gets funnier with each viewing, and believe it or not, you don't even have to be half baked to eat "White Castle" up. Or so we hear.
